About Us
It will be in a private studio that I’m about to transform into a sanctuary of creativity, that I’ll be concentrating all my passions and projects. You’ll also find me in the famous Montreal tattoo studio established in 1976 a few days a week, where I’ll be reunited with my friend and old colleague from the early days, Dave Cummings.
My name is Pierre Chapelan and my journey in the world of tattooing spans more than three decades, an adventure I’m eager to share with you as I embark on this new stage. Moving into a private space represents not just a change of scenery, but a real return to my roots, a return to the very essence of what drove me to become a tattoo artist.
My workshop will be more than just a studio; it will be the beating heart of my creative universe. I plan to organize tattoo sessions, welcome guest artists for enriching collaborations, and exhibit my work as well as that of my colleagues.
Contribute to the evolution
As founder of my own tattoo parlour, Studio TattooMania in 1997, I’m following in the footsteps of my father, also a tattoo artist: Michel Tattoo.
I do things with passion and dedication, values that I and my wife Valérie, co-organizer of the famous tattoo conventions ArtTattooMontreal and ArtTattooQuebec, have passed on to our daughter Audrey Lune, who is now the 3rd generation of the family to have her own studio: Salon_honeys.
Together, we’re part of a dynamic and committed community, and I’m delighted to be able to contribute to its evolution by sharing this space with other artists.
